drag and drop to .msg file problem
Vince, when I drag and drop to any subfolder (just tried it again!), the
cursor turns to an arrow with a message icon and a plus sign, indicating
that the message is going to be copied to the destination folder ... and
when I release the left mouse button, the icon simply disappears, and no new
file appears in the destination folder. The only two folders where I've
been able make .MSG files by drag and drop are C:\ and D:\.
By the way, I *can* make a .MSG file in *any* folder simply by opening the
message and using the File, Save As option. It's just the drag and drop
function that isn't working (except in the root directories).
The same thing happens with OE6, if I drag and drop to try to make an .EML
or .NWS file. So the problem isn't specific to Outlook.
