I have configured our Exchange server's Custom Attributes fields to
show a cost centre for each employee in the GAL.  When I am in
Exchange Administrator I added the column to my view so that I can see
the Cost Centre for each user in the list.

Is there any way to make the contents of this field viewable to
Outlook 98 clients when they browse the GAL.  The only fields that
seem to come up are :

User Name, Phone Number, Address, Title, Company, Alias Name

We would really like to see the Cost Centre field as well since some
users need to view this extra information.

You can't change the address book view, but you can add that field to the
mailbox details template used to each individual GAL entry.
