Modifing Outlook.prf

 Modifing Outlook.prf

How do I modify Outlook.prf to enable options that are located under a
different registry keys than the one provided in Section 4 - Mapping
for profile properties?  The first part of Section 4, contains the
Microsoft Outlook Client definitions.  All of the definitions are for
the same registry key and defined by
SectionGUID=0a0d020000000000c000000000000046.  What I would like to do
is add the options to make sure that all spelling options are enabled
and they fall under a different registry key
([HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0
\Outlook\\Options\Spelling]).  Also, they have a different variable
type than all of the other variables defined in the prf file (for
example, "SpellAlwaysSuggest"=dword:00000001 vs. set reminder option of
"000b0355"="01 00" defined as =PT_BOOLEAN,0x0355).  How do you define
them?  Are they PT_BOOLEAN or something different?  They really don't
match.

Perplexing, isn't it?

Okay, no replies yet.  It might be helpful to know that the platform is
NT 4.0 sp4 and Outlook 98.  Anyone?
