Outlook 2002 crashing on new Tablet PC / Windows XP

Toshiba Portege 3500 Tablet PC running on Windows XP
Platform, with Office XP.

The new Tablet PC was installed about six weeks ago, and
since then Outlook has crashed repeatedly when moving an
item from one folder to another.  The user has shortcuts
on the Outlook Bar to various folders on the network.  She
is simply dragging the file from one folder to another.
On the prior PC, moving items did not cause Outlook to
close.

I've found nothing about this on the Internet, and I've
poked around on the PC to see if there is some errant
setting that's causing this, and at this point I'm
desperate.  I've looked on the Toshiba, Microsoft and
groups.google sites (and I'm currently on hold with
Toshiba, and have been for 1.5 hours at this point
listening to what sounds like Russian dirges!).

I don't know if there is any correlation between the
installation of the new Tablet PC, but if anyone out there
has suffered the same problem, I sure would like to hear
from you.

Thank you.
