 Outlook and POP3 help please

I have just set up a group of users with a Windows 2000 workgroup.  They are
using Office 2000 with Outlook for their email.  Their ISP allows unlimited
multiple email addresses which I gather do not need to be notified to the
ISP and so I set up an account on each computer in the workgroup to using
their email address with a LAN connection (using internet connection
sharing).

They are now finding that whoever connects and does a Send/Receive from
Outlook received ANY incoming mail messages regardless of who they are
actually addressed to.

My experience is mostly in a client/server environment with Exchange and I
cannot see what is going wrong.  I've looked at the Knowledge Base, but all
the articles seem to describe the setting up of internet mail accounts just
as I have done.

Please, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Rowena

Sounds like you've got a single POP3 mailbox that collects all the mail
items for a domain (I used to have one like that). Outlook won't work well
with that sort of setup since it collects all the items in a mailbox. Check
with your ISP if they allow multiple mailboxes
