 Framemaker to Powerpoint conversion

I have several documents (text+images) that I prepared on Framemaker
while I was working under a Unix environment. Now I use Windows NT, and
I would like to convert them to Powerpoint. Does anyone know how (if)
this can be done automatically?

I tried obvious things like cut-and-paste, storing in FrameMaker's
intermediate format (.MIF), storing in rich text format (.RTF) etc. None
of these worked.

Not a clean solution, but you might try saving as .RTF, opening the
file with WinWord, and then using WinWord's "To Powerpoint" macro or
saving it again as .RTF and using Powerpoint to import that, instead.

If you had to do a lot of it, and this procedure worked, you could
create a WordBasic macro that simplified the procedure.
