 Pointing/presentation devices for Powerpoint

Hello all,

Using PP Windows & Mac for a series of about 90 training seminars on the
west coast.

Does anyone have a recommend on devices to advanced (and reverse) a slide
presentation in PP?

Currently using a cordless mouse which has worked well except it is
difficult to reverse (or am I missing something). I have seen the cordless
devices that communicate directly to the projector, but as we are running 6
projectors (not concurrently, but elsewhere in the territory)....their cost
adds up tremendously.

We are typically working with small groups, and are usually just 4+ feet
from the projector.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Tom Shores

Tom,

You will find that all devices to Reverse the powerpoint show will have
difficulties. This is because powerpoint will only reverse to the last
build. So if you have a slide with 4 bullet points. Each building on a mouse
click at a time, then reversing will also go back only one build. This is
perhaps why you appear to have difficulties reversing?

Hi Taj,

Thanks for the reply!  Yes, I recognize that limiting factor. But, the
problem I have reversing is more the fact that I have been using the
cordless mouse in my hand, standing...with no flat surface to control the
actual cursor. As long as I only click (advance forward) I'm in good shape.
But reversing is a different matter.

Any one no if you can set prefs in PP for...say a right click to equal a
backward progression?

Thanks!
