 Norton issues

Is anyone at either MS or Symantec working on the known conflicts with
Norton AV? I was a Norton fan for years but since hearing about the issues
I'm uninstalled it and now run AVG.

Yes, Norton and MS are working together on these issues. However, I think
it was a good choice to move to AVG. While Norton is more popular, and
more widely used than any other AV option, it is also, in my experience
(as well as others) the most resource hogging AV out there.
BTW, I wonder how you get this supernews stuff in your headers:

No clue. Could my ISP have changed their feeds?

Why would you bother even having anything to do with the garbage {*filter*}junk
Symantec/Norton dump in the market place.  Symantec/Norton have a long term
record of dumping junk failed and TROUBLESOME software into the market, and
if you want it fixed, just like Corel, buy the next version.

Symantec/Norton is resource hogging TROUBLESOME junk/garbage/trash.

Only fools that like trouble and failure use Symantec/Norton software.

It seems like someone is working on it because,  as I have reported
here previously, my newest version of NAV (2004) does NOT have the
problem I previously had of not being able to edit Pub articles in
Word without turning off script blocking in NAV.  This is the only
conflict I experienced, so it's the only one I can speak to, but I was
definitely pleasantly surprised to discover this when I upgraded to
NAV 2004.

Buying a Norton product is possibly the dumbest thing you could do.

Are you perhaps a direct relation of bonsai minion george w bush?
