Hans Van Damm #1 / 3	Access won't close after 'application.close' I have an application that should exit after a well-defined time. The OnTimer event of the 'job control' form contains an 'application.quit' command. The database is closed, but MS access keeps running. When I open the window and choose File -> Close from the menu, the window is only minimized, not closed. I have to abort the job using the task manager. I assume that JET somehow prevents access from exiting, but have no clue on how to check this. I checked all recordsets and they are closed, there are no records left in edit mode etc.. Running Access 97 on NT4.0. Hans
