 Removing Hyperlinks in Insert/Hyperlinks/Recent files

I have tried the "CTRL ALT -" method, but this only
appears to work for MRUs in the FILE Menu.

Is there a method for removing them from the Insert
Hyperlink Dialog box?

Hi Iain,

I *think* you have to empty the MRU listing for the entire
Windows environment. And I believe that can be done
somewhere in Windows Explorer, but I'm not sure where...

If no one else jumps in here, you might try asking in an
Internet Explorer newsgroup where/how to delete the
"History" listing. I'm pretty sure that's what this dialog
box is using.

Hi Cindy,
Thank you for your reply,

You were right, Quite a substantial task as the registry
hides so much :(.  I managed on one computer but decided
the task would take too long to do on the rest of the
network. Every HKey needs to be gone through!

I ended up doing a search for a bit of freeware to
achieve the vast majority of what I wanted, and
fortunately found one. For those interested, it's called
mru-blaster available from
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/mrublaster.html.
