You can also position text boxes and other drawing objects
using the arrow keys. For finer increments, combine the
Ctrl key with the arrow keys.
Also, note that holding down the Alt key when positioning with
the mouse releases the objects from the underlying grid, so
you can put them exactly where you want them.
If your mouse is "shakey" you might consider replacing it.
