 Illegal Operation

Oh how I love Microsoft's quality product line...

Originally my problem was that some of my text boxes would not print, and I
couldn't change anything that would make them, so I decided to delete them.
When I do this however, MS09.DLL throws an illegal page fault and closes the
program. It also is leaving WinWord.exe stalled, so that I must kill it
through the task manager. My current solution is to make the text boxes
transparent with no text, so that they aren't seen. However, as this section
of the manual becomes needed in other documents, I find that it also crashes
on any cut or copy request. I have tried this on multiple installs, and the
end result is the same. I am about to try the same thing with OpenOffice and
WordPerfect, only the files won't ever display my formatting correctly. Word
is most definitely not my area of expertise, neither is M$ Windows. I am a
Embedded Systems Engineer who needs to document my software. I'm proficient
enough to get around, but mostly I prefer Gentoo Linux. Sorry for the long
post, but I am trying to give as much info as I can. If you need any more or

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Sean Bradly

Sean,

What version of Word are you using?  Have you tried saving as a Word 6 or
even RTF file?
