Office 97, Office 2000, Office XP

Hi, I am recently considering implementing either office 97, office 2000 or
office XP and was wondering if anyone could please help me choose which one
to implement by giving me some major differences and advantages and
disadvantages between the three.

Thanks In Advance.

Hi Marc

If your machine system requirements can take Office XP, you are best looking
at this. There are many reasons that make XP worthwhile, over previous
versions and if you aren't looking at another upgrade for a fews years you
really cant go past XP. For example one of the really neat things is the
Document Recovery, which will attempt to fix files if they become damaged.
You shouldn't see this much, but it can be a real life saver. Anyway take a
look at this link from Microsoft's site, on what version of Office suits
you.

http://www.microsoft.com/office/evaluation/indepth/default.asp

Take a look at the new features in XP over Office 2000 from the following
link to the Office XP Product Guide.
http://www.microsoft.com/office/evaluation/indepth/xpguide.asp

Other things to consider as well, is the other applications that interact
with Office and whether they may need upgrading as well.

Cheers
Ian

I would recommend going to Office XP, all apps are
similiar, except power point, to Office 2000. Word (XP)
has some nice features over the 2000 version, auto-format
feature in Word are ALOT more user friendly! Access XP
allows you to Open 2000 database's with converting them
as well.
