I recently installed Office 97 on my laptop computer
that is running Win95.  I used the direct cable
connection with a host computer that is equipped
with a CD drive.

The symbol font exists on the laptop, and when
chosen will place the correct symbols in the
text of the document.  The problem is in
the insert symbols box, no symbols are shown.
It is completely filled with empty rectangles.
Does anyone know the cause of this problem.
