 Urgent help on transfering data

I have 2 different databases ("db1" and "db2") I have a
table that exists in both databases ( It has to stay that
way unfortunatly due to FDA rules). "tblA" in "db1" is
always edited and modified. After editing "tblA" in "db1"
I need to update tblB in db2 for the same records that
were edited or append records that were added. we use
password and userids. what I need to do is to have 2
buttons on the form that is based on the "tblA" one button
to Update and the other to Append the data to "tblB" in
the "db2". Can someone help.
thanks
Al

Will FDA rules allow you to create a link in db1 to the appropriate table in
db2?

Unfortunately, NO. It would have been very easy for me to
appropriate db2 then.

As it turns out, when you create an append query, you have the option of
using the current database or selecting another by specifying the file path.
Didn't know that till Saturday.
