Compile error in hidden module: utility
Sounds like a malfunctioning macro. Could be a leftover of an addin you've
installed or the result of a macrovirus. Before following the steps in this
message, get a good up-to-date anti virus product with recent (!)
definitions and scan your system.
If you've ruled out the possibility of a virus you can try these things:
Start Word from the Start - Run box in the commandline with Winword.exe /a.
This will start Word without any addins. If the problem goes away you need
to identify which addin was responsable for this errormessage.
Open Word and check to see where Tools-Options-FileLocations-Startup points
Close Word and (temporarily) remove any files from this location. Restart
Word to see if the problem goes away.
If there are no addins to blame, check
Tools-Options-FileLocations-Usertemplates. This is the location of
normal.dot a special file with usersettings.
Close Word and rename normal.dot in this folder to anormal.dot. Word will
create a fresh new one when you restart it.
If this helps you might need to copy any styles, autotextentries, macro's
etc. to the new file.
If you need any help with this, repost to this group and we try to help you
Hope this helps,
