Inserting Symbols in Word using keystroke combinations.

Inserting Symbols in Word using keystroke combinations.

Is anyone aware of a website or other resource that would have a list
with all of the keystroke combinations for every symbol that comes with
Word?  For instance, I know that to insert a MICRON symbol, you would
press alt-0181.  For a COPYRIGHT symbol, you can press the alt-ctrl-c
combination.

Is there a list of these combos available?

Thanks much in advance

Never mind.  I just found out to do it.  The Help menu sure does wonders
sometime eh??

On the Tools menu, point to Macro, and then click Macros.
  Show Me

In the Macros in box, click Word commands.

In the Macro name box, click ListCommands.

Click Run.

In the List Commands dialog box, click Current menu and keyboard settings.

On the File menu, click Print.

This website seems to have a good list of the symbols and the Alt + numbers.

Thanks Tonya!!  That's exactly what I'm looking for.  The List Commands
option I outlined in my second post doesn't contain all of the
mathmatical symbols I was looking for.  Thanks so much.

I don't think it contains any shortcuts for symbols :-(

If you have defined lots of shortcuts yourself, you can print them out
("File > Print", Print-Listbox).

If you are interested in mathematical symbols, also have a look at "Insert

The choice will be small in old fonts, larger in fonts like "Arial" or
"TNR", and quite impressive in "Arial Unicode MS".

Most of these symbols don't have shortcuts, so you'd need to define them
yourself (for example directly in the "Insert > Symbol" dialog), or set up
some AutoCorrect-entries for them (like =/ for the "unequal" sign).
