I am running Win 98 ver. 2 and I have downloaded some new
fonts (all .ttf).  I have gone into control panel,
settings, then fonts.  I have then looked in the file menu
and there is no option for "add new font".  It is not
greyed out, it just doesn't exist.  I have managed to
install the fonts in the Windows/fonts folder, but they
are not coming up on the drop down list in Word.  I can
double click on the font in the font folder and a box
comes up with the font sample, in all the different
sizes.  Can someone please help?  I have re-booted and
still nothing.  Lastly, some of the properties are showing
the archive box checked - I have unchecked a few and still
nothing.  What am I doing wrong?
