 A97: Go to new rec in 2nd level subform

I have a main form, frmClients, with a subform, subVisits.  On that
subform is another subform, subServices.  I would like to have buttons
on subVisits to add and delete records in subServices.  However, when I
attempt this with my usual method for subforms:

Me!subServices.SetFocus
DoCmd.GoToRecord,,acNewRec

subVisits actually moves to a new record, not subServices.  I am
setting the focus succesesfully and subServices is the active control;
it's the GoToRecord part that is behaving unexpectedly.  I have also
tried this referencing the subform through frmClients, like this:

Forms!frmClients!subVisits.Form!subServices.SetFocus

Again, the set focus works, but subVisits moves to the new record.

Thanks,
Angela
