Hello All, thanking anyone for a reply: A97.

I have a calender control on my form and a field called date.
The control source of the calender is set for the field, date.

When I click on a date within the calender control, the field date takes
that date. But when I change the date on the calender control the field does
not change to that date until I close the form and re-open it again.

How do I work it so when I click on a different date, the field date changes
straight away.

Have you tried to enter the following code in the AfterUpdate event of the
calender control:

Me.Refresh

That does the trick here :-)
