Advise on Outlook 98 Solution required
Hi,
I have a requirement to port an application in reverse, from Outlook 2000 to
Outlook 98. The Outlook 2000 application is fairly simple. All it
currently does is enables the user to select a number of messages in a
public folder, and then hit a button on the standard toolbar to forward
these messages to a user nominated group of users.
After having briefly read about what is possible in Outlook 98, it appears
that there are two potential problems. One is that Outlook 98 is VBScript
based. The second is that the Outlook 98 object model was not a fully
developed object model, in terms of being able to provide application level
functionality.
Consequently, I am looking for ideas on how to implement the intended
functionality within the Outlook 98 environment.
