Word 97 Insert Address toolbar button used to let me insert Outlook Contacts addresses
but now it's completely broken and I can't figure out what to try next. When
I click
the button a sign-in window for 'The Microsoft Network' appears. The sign-in
process fails
('data store not found' or some such message).
When I click
the Cancel button on the sign-in window, the Select Names window appears and
the
only choice is Microsoft Network. I recently had to do an involuntary
upgrade of my MSN
software to 'MSN Internet Access Version 5.2', so it's the prime suspect. I
tried
uninstalling IE 5.5 (reverting to IE 4.0), but that didn't help, so I
re-installed IE 5.5. I tried doing
a mail merge and selecting 'Outlook Address Book', but that didn't work. I
would try
uninstalling 'MSN Internet Access Version 5.2', but I can't find the
download site for this
software from the MSN home page. I'm tempted to uninstall it anyway, but
then I couldn't
read replies to this post. Help!

The suspects are:
Word 97
Outlook 98 (Internet Only)
IE 5.5
'MSN Internet Access Version 5.2'
Microsoft Exchange Server (think this was installed when MSN was upgraded)
