1st and 2nd letter

 1st and 2nd letter

I have a listbox on a sheet that is filled with names in alphabetical order.
When the listbox has focus, the first name that begins with the letter you
type is displayed in the listbox.  Is there a keyboard combination or any
other way that by typing in a second letter that the listbox would move to
the name that started with the first two letters you typed in.  For
instance: if you type K then Kent is displayed. If you type R then Ratliff
is displayed.  What I would like to do is type KR and get Kramer instead of
Ratliff

It sounds like you have set the matchentry option to FmMatchEntryFirstLetter
and you want FmMatchEntryComplete

FmMatchEntryFirstLetter 0
Basic matching. The control searches for the next entry that starts with the
character entered. Repeatedly typing the same letter cycles through all
entries beginning with that letter.

FmMatchEntryComplete 1
Extended matching. As each character is typed, the control searches for an
entry matching all characters entered (default).

FmMatchEntryNone 2
No matching.

Anyway, something to look at.

Well that was about as easy as anything I have ever done!  I never knew that
option existed.  Thanks once again.
