Whenever I use the top right close button (with the x) it comes up with a
message saying excel has errors and will be closed (it says it is generating
a log but I have no idea what to do with it orwhere it is even). It then
closes without saving resulting in a loss of work.

Strange thing is, if I open a new workbook from the start menu then it
doesn't have the problem (whereas if I do it by right clicking it does).

Anyone know what's going on? Help much appreciated, kind rgds, Mark
