Excel97 Close Button (x) greyed out
Thanks andrew. By using Alt F11 to check running macros i found that
someone has put a file called GWXL97.XLA in the main network xlstart folder.
TGhis is part of the integration of Novell Groupwise 5.5 which just happens
to disable the close button in excel as part of it's operation. We will
probably remove it in the next few days. At least it's not a Virus!!

mmm, soundslike someone is calling the API which deletes the control
toolbox. If you want to get it back run the
addin I will send you separately, but your probably better of tracking down
the offending code:
