Linked SQL tables not allowing additions in Access forms

I have a database I created in access.  I wanted to convert the
backend to a SQL server so I used DTS wizard to do this.  I have
relinked all my tables in the access front end to the sql server
backend using a DSN.  I renamed the links so that it would work with
all my reports, forms etc.

Now when it was completely in access I had a form that had a subform.
The subform would list the appropriate data being a child of the main
form.  The subform also included an empty row so that a user could
enter new data.  Since I am using the SQL backend it no longer has
this empty row.  It displays all the right data but I can't seem to
add anything.  I re-enabled the record navigation bar at the bottom
and the New Record button is grayed out too.  Does anyone know why
this might be?  Can I fix it?

Thanks,
Bill

Bill,

Do you have primary keys in the sql tables?

You will need a unique index to write to an ODBC attached table.

If you don't have them, create them,  and then redo your links.
