 How to trap custom form load event and TAB click event

Hi
I am facing two  problems in my custom form:

1. I have created a custom form it has three pages ( or three TAB strips).
Now I would like to capture the event when user selects a tab.

2. Second problem
    On this custom form I wish to update custom fields from certain values
stored in a txt file. Now whenever I tries to write the code for updation of
these fields in ITEM_OPEN()

objMailItem.GetInspector.ModifiedFormPages("Page1").Controls("TextBox1").Tex
t = "Value"

event it gaves me

Run-time error
Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.

But same code is working properly on ITEM_SEND event. Maybe the form needs
to be completely loaded before user defined fields can be accessed. So how
can I trap this thing???

Thanx
Vicky
