Hi Claudine,

Unfortunately you haven't written which version of Word you use. So
here's the solution for Word 6 (it should work in Word 95 as well):

Add the argument .NoReset = 1 to the ToolsProtectDocument-Statement.

 FORMS!!! UGH!!!

Hi all...

I have some important necessary macros built in to my forms.  However, when the
protection is toggled on and off, (part of the macro) it clears out all the
 form fields!  Any suggestions??

If you are using Word 6.0 you need to either use a combination of key
strokes to protect your fields.  Or if you are using a macro, you need a
command to lock the fields.

Keyboard - Select the entire document, or section of form fields, then use
the combination  Ctrl/F11.  Then re-protect your document and this works
for all fields but check boxes.

Macro - Use the command LockFields in Word basic, much easier and will
protect all form fields including check boxes.

Good luck!
