Hello,

I'm looking for a way to insert an address from a small database of
customers (format of database isn't critical, since it isn't created
yet) into a Word document. What I have in mind is the user being able
to selct from a list of addresses in a dialog box and having word
insert the address in the current document.

I'm sure this must be fairly straightforward, but I'm having trouble
none the less.

I have a programming background, but I'm new to the Office 97 family
of products.

The good news is that I have written exactly what you want.  The bad news
is I wrote it for Word 6 - which means Word 7 will run it fine, but Office
97 will require it to be completely re-written - and I haven't got the need
or the hard disk space to upgrade to Office 97.  However, if you want the
code, ask away!!!
