Outlook Express on one PC to Outlook on 2nd PC

How do I move my old messages from OE on PC 1 to Outlook
2002 on PC 2?  I only want the messages and not the
address book or settings which I have input manually.

I realize one way would be to forward them to myself and
pick them up on PC 2 but this would be cumbersome.
There's got to be some way I can put the info on a CD,
convert and import but I can't figure it out.  Please
help.  Thanks.

Copy the .dbx file from Outlook Express - move it to the PC with Outlook.
Open the .dbx file in OE on the new machine.  Then Export it to Outlook
using OE's File->Export menu.  Oh, and copy the .dbx from the CD to the hard
drive before you start.

I appreciate your help, Milly, but I do not seem to be
able to open the .dbx files copied to the new machine and
get them into OE.  Where should these files have been
copied to and how do I get them into OE?  I've tried to
import into OE but it won't let me.  I thought it would
be easy but for some reason I can't do it.  Thanks for
any help you can give me.
