Help with Outlook XP stops checking POP3 account when another PC is logged in

I have a problem with my Outlook XP.
It hangs from time to time, and wants me to enter a username and
password.
Just by clicking OK, it goes on.
The problem is that if I am not around the machine, the process of
checking my pop3 accounts and forwarding any emails covered by a rule,
will not continue until there is user intervention.
This clearly is unacceptable.
I need outlook to move on, and try the next account, and just try the
other next go around.
I use check mail every 5 minutes.
I have 10.2627.2625 and I can't seem to update the service pack 1.
I get some sort of message telling me that a certain file has already
been updated, and the process has to be canceled,
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

UPDATE
I finally got my Service Pack 1 installed, but I still have the same
problem.
So the update had no effect.
I still need to find out if there is any what to have OL2002 behave
like OL2000 where the receive mail task just simply continues even if
you have a problem for the one session.
Thanks again.

I understand the annoyance of having that window up, but I know of no way of
making it go away except dismissing it manually.  On the bright side, as
long as it doesn't need to dial a different number to connect to the other
accounts Oulook XP will check those accounts even though that dialog is up.
The problem, of course, is that the account that displays that dialog won't
be checked again until you dismiss the dialog...
