Use OE in 1st logon, Outlook 2002 in 2nd logon on same PC

My wife and I have seperate logons to our home PC.

I want to be able to set Outlook 2002 as my email client
but for my wife to continue to use Outlook Express as her
default.

In IE 6.0, when I select Tools - Internet options -
Programs and specify either client, it changes for *both*
logons.

Am I being too demanding...???

Thanks in anticipation

What OS are you using? If it's Win 9x then I'm afraid you are stuck with
either one or the other as default mail client. However if you are using XP,
then it appears that each user can have a different default email client.
(I've just tried it!)

Curious.
I login as myself; I open IE6; Tools, Internet options,
programs; I find email client = Outlook Express; I set
client = Outlook 2002; I log out.
I then login as wife; open IE 6; Tools, Internet options,
Programs; I find client = Outlook 2002; I set = Outlook
Express; I log out.
I login as myself; open IE6; Tools, Internet options,
Programs, I find my email client = Outlook express!

...Aarrgh!  Glad to know it is possible. Could it be a
logon profile issue?

No, I was wrong it doesn't work. The only possible answer would be to have
two instances of XP on two different partitions but that's getting into the
realms of insanity!
