Most of Office 97 runs well on my machine. However, when using Word and
trying to INSERT - Symbol I get the usual box but all the variations of
symbols are the same. I can use ALT and keypad but I'd like to resolve
the problem - any solutions?

of the font - i.e. no choices listed.

I've been importing Excel charts into Word. Without explanation, some of
the charts will be converted to big red "X"s, as I add and edit text in
the Word document. The only way to retreive the charts is to open them
up in Word, and then close them again. They then display Ok. Does anyone
know why this happens? Is it just another undocumented "feature"?
