New O2K docs in new window

Does anyone know how to disable the new "feature" of O2K that starts up
a new instance of Word or Excel when you open a new document or
workbook?

If you open 5 documents at once, you have 5 copies of Word running in
the Taskbar rather than one with 5 windows inside.

Thanks in advance for ANY help.... This is not helping me quit smoking.

Hi Bob,

The question is: If Word is now a SDI, does it use the same amount of
capacity for each instance or are the resources shared so that multiple
instances doesn't slow the computer ?

Several instance of Word in memory can be heavy for small computers ( with
"only" 32 Mo of Ram in W98 )
